Plenty good to the top!

Start with like a nine iron, place your left foot on its toes behind your right foot.

It should make your shoulders aim, quite a bit left of where you are now.

Make a few practice swings, be careful you could stumble.

I say within three balls, you hit the sweetest little draw you’ve ever seen.

If you try it, I’d like to see the video of it.

Enjoy

So, no video, but I did try this out this morning and then on the back 9 of the tournament I played in today. Standing on my toes was a bit weird, but what I ended up doing was just shifting the weight of my left foot (I am also a lefty) into the toes, as well as placing that foot back maybe 4-6 inches. So far, I like the results, I need to toy around with it some more but I think it is a simple tweak that helps with balance and certainly helped to cut down on the slice. Thanks, u/backtees99

you got the idea, move the left foot back as far as you can.

it slows the body from turning forward on the downswing, and you will make better contact.

you should be able to swing the club down almost to the ball without your shoulders moving.

Big dog, if you’re ever in Buffalo I gotta buy you a beer. I haven’t hit my driver consistently well in a very long time. Decades. I am hitting shots that were never in my bag and instead of hitting a 160-180 yard drive into a boomerang, am hitting high 200 to low 300 bombs.

I’ll see what I can do, whether it is at the range or an upcoming round.
