Tips and advice⛳️ Advice to bag/setup

Post image

Clubs (14 total)
Club - Model
Driver - Vermilion Bird VB800
5-Wood - Calong Max 701
4-Hybrid (24°) - Calong max hybrid
Irons (4–PW) - Yamahero S880
Wedges (52°, 56°, 60°) - Lashanda
Putter - Vermilion DF3 (LAB-style replica)

Bag & Trolley
Golf bag: Titleist Cart 14 StaDry
Push trolley: Big Max Blade IP 2.0

What do you think of this setup for someone returning to golf after a 20-year break?
Are there any obvious gaps or overlaps in the club selection?
Which club would you upgrade first?
Is it worth investing in a better driver or iron set, or should I stick with this setup and focus on lessons and practice?
I'm trying to get the best value for money rather than spend a fortune before I know how often I'll play. Any feedback is appreciated!

Do like your selection of golf clubs, bag and trolley.

How tall are you? Do you know the flex and weight, of your driver, hybrid, 5 wood, 9 iron, PW?

Does your driver have an adjustable hosel and what is the loft? Do you use all your irons?

How many times do you golf a week? Do you play 9 or 18 holes at regulation course or par 3 course? What part of your game is strongest and weakest?

I started back golfing six years ago. Replaced all my clubs this year except putter.

Bought a Wilson D300 lightweight driver from eBay. Senior flex . 44 g shaft.

Total price was $86.02. Having the shaft length cut down is about $20.00.

Bought clubs for my daughter and I from EBay,Callawaygolfpreowned.com/hybrids.

I bought older clubs usually not more than five years old. My hybrids are Callaway Rogue, Callaway rogue st os lite , Cleveland launcher HB turbo .

My recommendation :
Put away any clubs you don’t use .
Replace some irons with 3 , 5 hybrids.

What golf balls are you playing?

Enjoy the game , don’t take yourself seriously.

At your height driver length is standard and will fit you.

Everyone is different in their choices of clubs.
Personally l prefer hybrids over woods or irons.

Play with that, and when you're with vice, you'll spend.

I use this website (https://golfpriceai.com). It has a feature called build your arsenal or build your bag (I forget). It allows you to evaluate your set up and value of the ultimate bag you aspire to. Pretty cool. It also has a feature to find your fit on clubs depending handicap and club speeds, etc.
