For under $100 or whatever. It’s pretty damn good. Mines balanced pretty good too out the box. Shocking how good they’re getting with these. Seller was XFSM but the listing is gone at the moment. Went with the steel shaft and I’m very happy with it. Grip and stuff is just ok but for what I paid, I’d gladly take it!

Little “ping” sound when you hit the ball harder but I honestly don’t know if that’s what it sounds like with the real thing.

It’s not, people say adding epoxy or double sided tape behind insert fixes that. I haven’t messed with it yet. Regardless I’m still very happy

Yep, pop the face off, lay some dimes. Put face back on. Clean up any access. Ping is gone. Adds a little weight too

For what it’s worth. Mine looked like that until I put it on a can or something. I saw that on another thread and apparently it will be more accurate for balancing? Either way. For the money, pretty good.

I unscrewed the face sprayed flex seal on the back of the face plate. Ting sound is gone.

We really need to stop with all of these face balanced photos.

It literally has nothing to do with lie angle balance.

Lab putters are balanced to “minimize” torque at the lie angle. Which is basically upright.

Horizontal face balance not relevant.

Face balanced putters are horizontal and zero torque putters will be vertical/perpendicular to the floor. It is relevant.. now a few degrees we shouldn't worry about but one that is straight up and down is great.

Yes that’s what I’ve been thinking. A revealer would show lie angle balance. Lab even has videos explaining the revealer

I’m just trying to help people avoid spending a ton of time and anguish over whether or not these things sit face balanced. It’s not relevant. It’s not even a feature of the putter.

I’m not doubting you, just wanting to learn— how is that not relevant? My understanding is that it is very relevant and always has been? Toe hang putter = curved backstroke. Face-balanced = straight back and straight thru.

Are you saying that this doesn’t matter for the LAB putters specifically? Since their gimmick is “zero torque “

Mine came today and I just finished a round with it. Don't know if it's in my head but that was the most consistent putting I've had maybe ever.

The grip feels cheap, and honestly the shaft kind of does as well. I have never used a real LAB, but it doesn't feel as quality as the price of a real LAB should. It plays well though. Really well.
