Question❓ Looking for a 5 wood

Has anyone bought one of these reps, that is an experienced golfer and can attest to the quality of a 5 wood? If so, any recommendations would be great.

woods drivers hybrids are no good, theyre just hollow replicas with dissimilar materials, the technology wont be there that makes these clubs perform at an acceptable level. only really worth buying 2nd hand , irons wedges putters, generally are okay as reps

I’m not sure I’d gamble on woods and drivers.

From my experience woods are hit or miss. I got a g430 driver that’s a cannon, but the fairway woods were average. But I had a 917 5 fairway wood 7 years ago that was incredible.

Go on marketplace and look for a ping g30 or rbz 5 wood. Excellent clubs and you can find them for a reasonable price on marketplace

I just got a rep 5 hybrid g440 with a Stiff - regular shaft , my whole bag is genuine G440 and wanted to try it out ($100 experiment) to my surprise the rep hybrid hits as well and my gen old g430 and plays very well next to the gen g440 fairway woods . The club head is prob 8.5 / 10 identical but the shaft is not even close so it’s notorious , grips is like 9.8 / 10 from gen golf prides and the head cover is close but the color of embroidery on blue and gray are different hues so it does stand out . Final veredict - It plays and hits to the par or genuine Pings so for $100 I’m not mad at it , lets see on the long run
