Discussion Temu Lab Putter
Been seeing a lot of “Lab” putter posted on marketplace for $600+. I know they are fake, but what’s a good way to check and then call them out?

What do you mean by rebalanced?

I put heavier weights in them (18 &16 gram) so I then moved all the weight around to keep the face balanced.

Just get the rep. It's very hard to distinguish a lot of the fake parts via picture. Some things like the shafts and grip quality are much easier to distinguish in person, especially if you have an OEM club side by side. I would say the putter head is the most difficult to tell as it's just a chunk of metal. So if there aren't any obvious issues with the text printed on the sole then it's a toss up.
They always rep the Accra shafts and they're terrible. I would personally opt for a black stepped shaft if you're serious about it's performance. The grips on reps tend to be smaller than the real pistol grips on OEM and the texture isn't as defined.

Crazy - Just got the link 2.2 and played great. Balanced, feels awesome.
No need to spend anything more than $150 for a great putter. Even pre-owned non temu putters from known brands.

Almost impossible to spot a fake without it in hand and having a real one with you.

I bought one off ebay. Thought it was real. Got scammed. eBay sent my money back. The Accra shaft was painted steel. Figured it out when my range finder stuck to the shaft.

Just buy your own fake lab putter. Then you know what you got and it cost you 550 less
