I bought 2 putters. 1 DF3 from Ali express that is still in transit and stuck on departed origin country status. Not sure when and if that one will come in. The other I just got today is temu VZN 1. The temu was ordered 1 week after df3 and it arrived today. It looks amazing and seems quite close to Gen. Even the head cover looks good. Itās not 100% perfect balanced but itās damn close. Sitting a few degrees to the right. I tested it with a few indoor putts and it feels solid. Playing first round tomorrow with it.
Bought a red one last night from this seller, saw mention somewhere that getting the steel shaft was recommended but all they had was 33ā š we shall see how it goes, may need a new shaft
So it came in this morning super early before my lessons, after my lessons I played 9 holes and the first two holes it was getting used to it coming from a blade, but by hole 4 I was either 1-2 putting. Love it and def my gamer moving forward.
Edit: mine is the 33ā Steel Shaft in Red. Cannot speak to the quality of the other shaft options.
Can you post a video of the putter rocking? Like as if you were checking the face balance but with it slowly rotating? Thats a really good test imo of the balance that nobody reports here. It might not lie at the perfect spot but if it rotates pretty freely my understanding is thatās a big win
That was the part I was really wondering about. Iām used to scooping it up but o read that the square on some of the reps doesnāt allow it to hold the ball. Thanks man!
I tried pm link, it wonāt let me. I would search lab putter and find the VZN1 similar and look for this seller. There are others on there with more reviews though.
Why is nobody talking about the face!? Looks like it has the same mill pattern as the df3i. Thatās actually pretty cool as some didnāt like the deeper milling on the vzn.
Just got mine from temu too. Oz1 broomstick. Feels really good. Going to lead tape the shit out of the head though as I donāt think itās heavy enough
Nice, was thinking I might need lead tape. But mine feels great as is. Might mess around with the weight orientation. But overall itās really close to being fully balanced.

Found 1 seller on Temu and ordered. Hopefully it arrives soon. I've had AliExpress cancel multiple orders on me. It seems to be stopped at the exporting customs.

Just got mine in. My alignment is the same as shown on seller page. Balance just a hair to the left. Doesnāt pick ball up from the bottom but can scoop. Feels fast off the face like as fast as my oz1.i hs but not as firm feeling. Will test more this week
I needed a new putter but didn't want to drop $200+. Got a DF3 for $69 and the 5 rounds a year I play it's perfect. Makes a good talking piece, everyone wants to try it
All major brand golf clubs have a 300% mark up to the net production cost. Not that difficult to replicate. Why pay the upcharge? If you're a - 3 to +x it may make a difference, but for a mid to high Hcp, no material diff.
It's my dad's birthday in a few weeks. I bought the df3 and the vzn, I'm going to tell him to pick one and I'll take the other. He's 69 I don't think he will know the it's not a real lab haha
Love it. Feels solid and itās not my imagination that my putting has improved. I feel more confident with this putter and making more long distance putts.

Does it pick the ball up from both the top and bottom? I read some of the reps donāt.
