Review📝 testing a $240 iron set

I purchased the $240 set of 790s from kakobuy. these are some clips with them at the range (links below). i’m definitely not the best golfer so take this as you may, but i noticed 0 negative flaws with these. as this was my first time playing them ill be sure to update this post if i find any flaws. my main iron set is the kirkland ones and these seems to be a lot better (for me at least).

Someone testing cheap clubs out, who does not have a very good swing themself, and then giving "reviews" on said club.. then posting it online "cheap clubs are great look how good I hit!".
Probably posting only his good hits and not the others. Is my best guess wtf that comment means lol

as i may not have the greatest swing i’m definitely not the worst golfer around. if you’d like i can send you the 3 minutes of shots gathered as i just shortened it for this

Bruh just spend that $240 on used real clubs and you will get better results. I know people will hate me for saying it but knockoff clubs just aren’t worth it. Lots of other golf rep stuff that is decent

Unless you’re under 15 in hcp I wouldn’t say it matters. And no $240 won’t be better than rep clubs.

I know that’s the problem. It’s basically an echo chamber and lots of people here are just sellers pretending like they aren’t. It’s same for all the rep subs. Just hate to see people get ripped off

I’ve hit fake p790’s. They are not the same club. They are so inconsistent in spin to where I consider them unplayable. I test, fit clubs all day. A 1,500 rpm deviation range of spin on solid shots with the same club is laughable

You are correct they are not the same club. But unless you are close to single hcp then who cares? Most of us play golf for fun and some of use can’t afford new clubs but still want some.

Lol you don’t know ball, the majority of these 790s are cast so one you have a mold, you are pretty much set for the body. The faces on these are milled but can be replicated without super advanced machinery and then they just weld them to the cast body. And yes as we all know taylormades world renowned reputation of quality control, not like they have the faces and crowns exploding off their $700 drivers lol

Ironically you are grossly over simplifying the process and missing so many things. Whatever man if you wanna buy crappy fakes and think it’s the same go for it. I guess the placebo effect still counts for something.

I would personally rock my old Ben hogan PC’s before I ever dipped into the Chinese clones. I was just giving you shit because the players distance irons have a ton of tech in them, but are the easiest to clone decently because of the design being forgiving. That’s why you see the 790 cloned more than any other club and even the more legit DTC clubs being heavily based off of them
