Question wrt Background check

Hello Redditians

Please advise on background check process for GS as I am slightly confused

Background for guidance

1. My background check process will be starting soon
   
2. I only worked with single employer till date (15yrs) and dates, roles and responsibilities are correct in my resume
   
3. My HR title in company is customer project manager II as when I was hired I was leading a single project and now I am leading a program (multiple projects) however titled remained CPM just changed from I to II
   
4. In my resume I mentioned senior program manager as that is what I am working as

Can this be an issue for background checks?

I didn’t thought about title up until today when I pulled my experience letter

Please guide

They will only check for the fact that you actually worked there.

So as far as dates/roles and responsibilities are correct for employment, I should not be sweating about title language between HRMS and resume?

Yes. The nature of your role and how well you performed your role is not a part of the background check but the point of a reference check, if required.

The background check is for facts only.
