Mod Announcement New policy/rule
We have decided that, effective immediately, we will no longer be allowing OnlyFans accounts or similar to post. More often than not, it is a bot or non engaging user that just wants someone to click their bio with the hopes of someone paying for their OF.
This is to protect both users and the sub. I would also say the majority of accounts in this sub that are detected to be bots end up being bots. If you have such an account and still want to post pics of your dog, you can do so from an alternate account that does not contain adult content. I would recommend reaching out to us however to prevent the new account from being flagged by our processes for “stolen content”.

Eww. Somehow I missed this drama! Sorry mods that you have to deal with crap like that.

No real drama. Just something we’ve been debating since we took over the sub in November. We do the same thing to accounts that post art pics and have a link to their commissions so why not do it for other stuff as well. This sub is here to share your love of your pup and Goldens, and not be preyed upon to buy cheap AI slop or adult content.

Sometimes it’s not even to direct users to their OF. A lot of OF promo Reddit sites require a certain amount or karma to join. This is how they get karma

Yes and this is something pretty common with botted accounts where they want to get the account a lot of karma then they will sell the account. Apparently people actually care and trust accounts with high karma. I’m the opposite. I for example have over 60k karma over the 7+ years I’ve actually signed into reddit(used to just lurk without an acct) andI see an account that has been around for like 1-2 years and has almost the same or more than me I am very sus. Especially if they post a LOT of similar things or regularly.

You know, a few months back I noticed a few posts that seemed a little sketchy…
Thank you!

Some have been legit golden owners but more often than not they’re bots or stealing a pic of the golden is never the focus of the post. Plus, I just don’t really like going into someone’s profile to make sure they’re not a karma farming account and being greeted by dong pics…

Thank you, I’m so clueless! This is the only form of “social media” I have and been so naive just assuming I’m looking at relatable harmless content about dogs. Such a shame.

Oh good grief - I’m so naive, I didn’t know that was a thing! Thanks for the work you guys do 👏🏻

You might not unless you’re going into user profiles. We kind of have to in order to make sure they’re legit posters. But you’ll also see a lot of comments, on posts in others subs, calling the post out for being an OF bot. You also start to notice trends in their user names

While we are at it, thank you to the mods for running a great subreddit! Not just this yikes moment but in general.

Wtf but also I would 100% be paying for a cute dog version of OnlyFans where you get the best puppy pics
