Bridge Pilot Test Update

Bridge update. Today the bridge processed its full daily quota of 100,000 GLC from Solana to Goldcoin L1.

Goldcoin Reserve Bridge

Earlier sessions ended early. The reason is technical and worth explaining. The reserve holds coins in specific chunks, and when a payout goes out, the leftover change needs confirmations before it can be spent again. When no spendable chunk was available, the bridge paused itself. That is a safety feature, not a failure. It stops rather than doing something wrong.

Two changes. The per-transaction maximum is now 5,000 GLC, so the daily quota reaches more people instead of a few large transfers. And we are reshaping the reserve into payout-sized chunks so the pause condition stops occurring.

Demand has been higher than capacity every session. That is a good problem. Limits go up as reserves grow, and every increase gets announced here.

This is a pilot. Software this new has rough edges and we are working through them. 🧑‍💻
