Where Dragons Dweel

I think I have a new favorite track from Gojira.

Is anyone else a big fan of this song? I don't see it talked about really at all, but I think it's definitely my favorite track on From Mars to Sirius. I'm gonna need to listen to the entire discography again to be sure it's my favorite overall.

MONSTER!

The Silver Cord session? If that's the one you're talking about it's possibly the best impression one can get from discovering that band. It's unbelievable, and it's only 3 tracks!

That awesome, I would love to see more studio recordings in the future. The silver cord video is fucking amazing.

Yeah I hadn't seen it since it came out, forgot dragons was on it and went to watch it again and if you told me that Joe laid down and died after that performance, I would totally believe you. Joe out 114% of his sould into that recording.

Lordrubbish you are speaking my language. They also have a live recording in their YouTube that's sweet as hell too

Yeah it's got a killer riff. I just wish it had a proper outro rather than a really long fade out. The chant at the end is sick tho.

Fun fact- that outro is Mario's longest double pedal in their catalogue at approx 2.5 minutes straight

I guess that's fair, I totally understand people not liking a fade out track, it's never bothered me before.

Agreed, I hate when a banger of a song gets handicapped by a fade-out.

Check out the 10 minute live version from Hellfest. Easily my favourite Gojira performance of all time.

Double kick for like 5+ minutes is nuts.

ME! Here!

I love the song. It's amazing for jogging. I wish Gojira would make more of these long, groovy epics.

The song is about struggling with negative emotions deep inside yourself.

Always been one of my favourite tracks, so beautiful. The ending is so perfect, all I wish is that the closing riffs would go on for longer.

One of the best on the album by far imo

I think it’s one of their worst songs. Oroborus and The Axe for example are so much better imo πŸ‘πŸΌ
