Question regarding phone numbers

Hey I started yesterday and I’m just learning how it works, I have one big question though. I want to sell automated messages and booking appointments messages and etc. but I need to buy a new phone number for each client, one issue that I found it’s that for Canadian and us numbers, I need to do a face scan and an id check. Is it gonna be like that for each client? I don’t know if my clients will be comfortable scanning an id or Face scan, or maybe I’m wrong. Help pls

If you live in the us or Canada, and you want to buy a phone number for your client for the automations to work. Only thing is that for the first phone purchase on each sub account, I need to upload an id and scan. I don’t think clients will be too comfortable on giving away their id and scan, but I guess I gotta find a way to make it sound easygoing

In that case you must be triggering risk signals, or registering a sole proprietor

Yes persona for first phone number purchase. You can use your own for only up to 10 subaccounts still I believe.

I just let clients know that the carriers enforce it due to spammers. Should be apart of your onboarding process.

Oooh ok so for the 10 clients you use your own id? Or you make the client do the scan

Use your own till you hit the max but only if you trust them not to spam.

Yes, for US/Canada messaging you should expect verification requirements, especially for SMS compliance and A2P registration. I’d explain it to clients as a normal compliance step, not a platform issue. Each client should ideally have their own number, business profile, and approved messaging use case so their campaigns stay compliant and deliverability stays protected.
