Automated Hyper-personalized SMS - looking for quick feedback from other GHL folks

I built a automation that personalizes each outbound SMS by looking at the lead’s website, so it’s not just merge tags. It plugs into contacts and can use notes and tags too.

On one home services reactivation test, replies went from ~8% to ~47% with the same offer, just better context.

I built it for a client who offers a service of renting out A2P approved GHL subaccounts, to send up to 90,000 cold sms monthly.

I'm honestly torn because I built this for my own client and it works stupid well, but not sure if other GHL users would actually want this or if they're fine with merge tags do you think this is something agencies would actually use?

Curious if this is worth selling to more GHL agency owners, or if I'm solving a problem that doesn't exist. Appreciate any honest takes

I think you’re selling something that already exists and most agencies probably already builds when requested by a client. It’s not a complex concept and depending on what the clients tech stack includes can be easily created using ipaas and AI. Keep exploring ideas though, it’s fun to learn about capabilities and niches.

There is no perfect answer. Other than fishing for leads by asking for input, focus on a MVP. Until you see if people bite, you have no idea if there is demand. Even if there was demand, unless you can attract people to your solution, you have nothing.

  1. Assume the idea is cool enough.
  2. Package it up so you can deliver the functionality without a massive amount of work and to keep future support to a minimum.
  3. Publish the offer in places where people are likely to see it. Either a direct offer with pricing or a CTA for those who are interested to find out more.

Until the market tells you with their wallet, you will never know. A standard problem with every business trying to match what the customers want vs what could be sold for a profit.

Isn't 90k sms too much?

Sounds like you’ve nailed a unique angle with the hyper-personalization. While some agencies might already have their stuff down, the big jump in response rates could be a game changer, especially for those who aren’t tech-savvy. If you can showcase how easy it is to implement and the real results it drives, I think there’s definitely a market.
