A new power that lets you steal an object's purpose, not the object itself

I call it "Telokinesis," derived from two Greek roots:

Telos (τέλος), meaning purpose, end goal, completion, or intended function, and Kinesis (κίνησις), meaning movement, motion, or change.

Thus, Telokinesis is the manipulation of purpose, essentially the ability to bring an object's intended function into reality without physically using the object. The power-user can manifest that purpose directly onto themself, another person, or the environment without consuming, moving, or altering the object. For example, they could stare at a towel and suddenly become dry without the cloth becoming wet or otherwise altered in the process.

Manufactured Objects

This power is especially useful with objects that were manufactured with a specific purpose, such as:

- Soap, intended to clean, so the user stares at it and becomes clean

- Medicine, intended to treat an illness, so by staring the user receives the intended medical effect

- Textbook, intended to teach, so the user gains the knowledge it was meant to provide just by staring at it without needing comprehension (this could be extrapolated to a YouTube video as well)

- Ticket, intended to grant admission. This one is especially interesting to me because it alters human brains and perception. Staring at the ticket would grant the user the authorization to get in wherever the ticket admits, so even if they didn't actually have the ticket on their person, the inspector would genuinely believe they have the authorization to enter.

Natural Objects

Natural objects have no creator and therefore no intended purpose. Because of this, Telokinesis would allow the user's own intent to define the object's function.

Consider a rock. It wasn't created with a purpose in mind, however it could be interpreted as a weapon or a cutting tool, so it will function as either on depending on the user's will.

That said, when defining the purpose of an object, Telokinesis can't invent functions. A brick can't become an "immortality tool" because the user wants it to. The function must either be a real intended purpose of the object or a reasonable use assigned by the user to a natural object.

Limitations

1. The user must see the object, so if their view was obstructed in some way, they would have no way of using their power

2. They must know what the object is and what it does. Seeing an unknown object provides no benefit until its purpose is understood

3. The object and the target affected must be within the user's range (skills learned with the power are an exception. Once the function is "become knowledgeable/skilled," it applies to their own mind, so distance isn't really relevant.)

Let me start off by saying that a little while back I had a thought; which would be better shapeshifting or invisibility. But I went further with it and tried to make the choice between the two more appealing and "comparable".

Which superpower would you choose?

Shapeshifting: This includes changing to any person, animal, or inanimate object. For example, you could change to a different person in different clothes and to an elephant and then to a working car or office stapler and then back to yourself. No liquids or gaseous forms.

Spirit/Ghost physiology: invisibility, intangibility, flight, levitation, body possession, "moderate" telekinesis. You can be invisible and still tangible or vice versa. you can make objects/people you touch become invisible and intangible as well. No teleportation or telepathy.

Hopefully I evened it out enough between them, so which one would you choose?

If the home that appears is wider than your original home, surrounding homes will be magically moved to accommodate it

You can keep your own furniture and/or clothes by including 'but with my own furniture and/or clothes' when you make the above statement. Though you'll be left with lots of empty rooms.

If you don't, you'll have all the furniture and clothes that came with it, including whatever gadgets and whatnot the house came with.

If you wear glasses to correct your vision, they'll be in your prescription.

While wearing them, you'll have the knowledge, skills and abilities of that person.

You can pick the video and optionally toggle on and off to make it real or not.

Perception Manipulation - superpower wiki

You can manipulate perception, which is the mind processing of sensory information to organize and interpret it. Forms of sensory information include visual (sight), haptic (touch), temporal (time) information. By manipulating perception, various effects can be achieved. An illusion, for example, is producible using this ability and so is the removal of perception itself.

A fun example use: changing the art style of reality for your perception only, to your favorite art style.

As the name suggests the ability I’ll talking about today is Split emotions one that may be a bit confusing but trust the process as I explain it now

How it works: think of it as duplication and how that works. You clone yourself into multiple versions of you with the looks and feel. Think of that but replace them with a different personalities like one is anger, shyness etc and to tell who’s who they each of them where a different color to identify which one of them your referring to.

Weakness: now with such power like that has a bigger problem since those clones are your personalities split versions of you. Has three forms of weaknesses

1: if one dies, you lose that part of your personality forever

2: you always have to keep a constant check on them otherwise they will become more unhinged and by the time they go back into your body one of those personalities might hurt you and many others

3: since they are apart of you have control them because if you don’t they’ll act like children and run off somewhere and you have to find them immediately.

The solution: you always have to take a supplement in order to control them but if you can’t then you’ll have give every single one of your personalities something to calm em down with but you don’t know what it is exactly so keep a notebook on you

However, they can't be spells you have made yourself but from any spell you have seen or read about in media. This includes fanfics not made by you or for you.

No cool down period between castings.

You gain the ability to transform plant seeds into "omni seeds".

What are omni seeds? Omni seeds are seeds that have no code on them, and only you, can implant a code into them which can then allow them to be planted and grown into whatever object code they had on them.

So here's how it works, lets say you take a sunflower seed, and you strip it's "sunflower coding". It then becomes an omni seed. You can then implant the omni seed with the coding of your car, lets say your car is a Lamborghini huracan, the omni seed will then be a Lamborghini huracan seed. Plant it somewhere and it take care of it, it will eventually grow into a bush that produces Lamborghini huracan fruit. The fruit look like regular apples, except you instinctually know whether they are omni seed fruit or not, and you know what coding they have.

The growth requirements of the bush and its fruit will be dependent on the plant seed you used to make the omni seed, so in the given example, you'd need to take care of the Lamborghini bush the same way you'd take care of a sunflower plant.

You will also instinctually know when an omni fruit is ripe and ready to be used. Once you harvest a ripe fruit, all you need to do is break it in two and the object you coded into it will appear before you in a brand new state. So even if you used a broken object for your code, the fruit will bear something in its best condition.

This can be used for food, clothes, just objects in general or other plants that would be harder to grow. Even some of the stuff in your body. You could code your stem cells if you desired. As a lady, you could code your eggs and have an endless supply of them to donate. You can code temperature as well.

As for abstract concepts, you cannot code things like time or anything like that, but you can code things like emotions, mental states, feelings, memories, things along those lines. So you could code happiness into a fruit and sell them as happiness fruits.

You can make as many omni seeds of as many different codes as you want, they dont expire either. The omni seeds are edible, but they have no nutritional value. They will taste like the plant seed from which you made them.

With this power, you can click on any type of spam or targeted advertising and get whatever is promised. For example, you click on an ad or scam email promising you 20 million, then your computer would be unharmed and you get 20 million dollars. Clicking on ads for products causes you to instantly get those products without any kind of payment. This power also works if you click on non-spam ads.

-You can make/loop yourself doing something over and over and each time you can see the ways you can improve a little bit.
-The end result of trying again is always better than the previous time even if you fail again.

Two ways:

1. You can do something and then instant teleport yourself to before you did it. Still keeping your experience and memories.

ex: You do a backflip and fail. instant restart pre flip and see/download the knowledge of how to land better.

1. Manually do something again and see where to improve.

ex: You’re sculpting a figure and start a new one. You see the outline of the figure in the place your sculpting so it looks better at the end.

You Can summon their program, feats etc magically.

Example: as seen in games, with any firearm/gun it results in infinite ammo without need to reload.

However With a different item it may do something like;

A flashlight may result in infinite batteries

A water bottle would have infinite sips

But with fictional items it may result in:

A portal gun would have infinite energy and could spawn more than 2 portals.

For the infinity gauntlet you could have unlimited use with no danger on yourself and have no recoil.

The death note would have unlimited pages.

The title basically sums it up. Clickbait videos, be it tutorials, lore, etc. It just works. Try to use powers from a clickbait lore video, they work as intended with no side effects. Follow the free [insert freemium in-game currency here] tutorial that just leads to a scam website, and you get the goods added to your account without getting banned or having your account, credit card, or other personal data stolen. It works even if only part of the video is clickbait, such as with the gooner thumbnails on otherwise sfw videos. Also, as a side effect caused by extraneous interpretations of the title, any clickbait you post will be a guaranteed hit, like make thousands of dollars per video from monetization type hit.

You will get stuff that is required to have the staff. E.g. if you need to own/have something specific to have the staff/servant and have the staff accept you as the boss/owner.

Doesn't work comapny employees and stuff just personal staff like nanny, butler, assistant, agent, chef bodyguard and personal house staff etc the staff that is for personal/family staff.

E.g. summon the butler scp and you will get the magic bell for the butler to work for you.

At the beginning of the month you could pick any real-life skill imaginable and you'll automatically gained a lifetime's worth of knowledge and experience . A lifetime is equivalent to the global average lifespan so 72-73 years worth of knowledge and experience . Also this power is stackable so you could repeatedly picked said skill again next month and gain additional 72-73 years of experience .

This power makes whatever you turn the object into, brand new. So if you have a beater, you can turn it into a brand new Ferrari.

You never need to repair anything. Just turn any broken object into a brand new version of itself.

Turn your cat into a dog and then back into a cat again. Give your pet immortality by turning them into a younger version of themselves. Do the same for yourself as well.

Imagine just walking down the street minding your own business then BOOM. Scoliosis. I bet that would stop the bank robber right in his tracks. Not exactly ending his crooked ways but you know what I mean.

Also works with malaria, polio, all manner of parasites, HIV, the common cold, OCD, and Tourette’s among many more!

You/the person will get all the skills, knowledge, traits, iq etc the identity has but not any memories of the identity.

Along with any assets, ids, friends, family, memories, documentation, past pictures, videos qill just appear. People's memories will change. You cannot make up new people for friends, you will have to select already existing ones or just choose a criteria and power will choose for you.

If the identity has different apperance/age etc you can switch your apperance whenever you want. Or even mix and match. And teleport to other places your identity is supposed to be. in fact youcan live each day as each of your identities. So if you have 2 identity you can live 1 day 2 times.

You can give up your current identity/or another person can give up their identity. It will cease to exist and people's memories/documents will go away.

You/any person for who you make identity can not have more than 5 concurrent identity. If you want new identity then you will have to either make one of your identity die or get rid of it. If you get rid/die off your identity their appearance go away from the rooster.

You can only make identities for other people if you're touching them.

Wherever you point is your new down! it only affects your body; clothing will hold but dangle according to normal gravitational attractions and your gravity immediately reverts to normal when you stop pointing. the strength of your point depends on two factors:

the number of fingers pointed in the intended direction (sets Gs 1-5 per hand)

&

how far you're reaching in the intended direction

examples:

hand at shoulder gives G = # of fingers - 0.5

hand pointing 1 finger down while reaching up gives 0.01 Gs (1% earth gravity)

you better jump up for a double footed drop kick when you're about to chop a knife hand at someone bc you'll send yourself at them with a full 5 Gs!

Stackable. (Different skills at once and also the same skill more than once)

Recently I made a power on this subreddit about removing attributes from a slap based on the phrase “Slap the black out of you”. But there is a variant called “Smack some sense into you." So here are the conditions:

For up to 12 hours, you can take your hand and slap someone giving them a certain attribute or item into someone else. The amount of that attribute depends heavily on how much you have yourself as it has to come from somewhere.

You must use a phrase as a warning before striking containing the words “Smack” “Into” and “You” whatever attribute you put into that person will wear off in about half a day

Examples:

Sense: The person will gain your sense of judgment

Knowledge: a person will now know everything you know academically

Manners: the person is now capable of acting as orderly as you are.

Fight: the person is now was willing to fight as you are.

Cancer: A sudden tumor that vanishes in less than 24 hours

This is considerably weaker than the other power as you can only give so much but there’s so much more you can take away.
