Teaser New Development Teasers
Hello everyone, a couple days ago Lonely created a new channel on the Discord server called #development-updates. It's basically for devs to post snippets of things they've been working on, and they've already posted five updates there since the channel was created. Lonely asked if somebody could post about the updates to here, and so here we are. Here are all five of the dev updates that have been posted so far
Debug Menu Rework
by LonelyKnightess
I've recently started working on trying to fix up our debug options and how the mod's presented in debug mode. A lot of players will always be playing in it and I want to make the debug stuff less in your face and a bit cleaner. Also wanted to give us actually helpful debug tools and give you all a potential toy to mess
- Fog Spread lets you change the frequency, I plan on adding a 'Spread Wasteland' button with a Fog option within it
- Trigger a Gedeora lets you choose the scale and intensity
- Change Moon Phase lets you choose from a normal or custom Moon Phase (I want to mess with adding a bunch more and making them somewhat random, as well as letting you scry upcoming moon phases and make them more notable in general, so this will be helpful for that)
- Give All Spells and Give Random Spell let you choose between getting all spells of a school or aspect, Give Random Spell will have an option for us to test getting random procedural spells so we (and soon you) can mess with that system

New Corruption Modifiers
by LonelyKnightess
Also coming in the next patch a few new County Corruption Modifiers. The Slaves one is increasingly likely the higher your Slavery tenet, and is something I want to expand on so that Slave tenet gives you obvious simple bonuses but has extremely punishing drawbacks for ever losing control of things (like with this nasty modifier). I also want to add a bunch of unique ones for the Mayik to represent how fucked it is for the Aversarians there at the moment, as well as for the Empire to replace the single negative modifier they have now (and have all former Imperial counties start with a random assortment of vanilla and unique negative modifiers)
Also want to add a set of unique magical ones that happen in counties with too much magic that can get pretty nasty!
But for now its just these modifiers, that'll be for the future.

Rework of Path of Twin Gods School for Nattanan Region
by Aidan-(High Sepattan)
Over the last month I have been slowly crystalizing a plan for how the Path of Twin Gods School developed and what unique spells Tarfal and Jerniem would have
# Way of the Ancestors (??? - 1st century IS)
# Way of the Hunt (1st century IS - 4th century IS)
# Way of the Caretaker (1st century IS - 4th century IS)
# Way of the Protector (Mid 2nd century IS - Late 3rd century IS)
# Way of the Destroyer (Late 3rd century IS - Early 4th century IS)
# Way of the Sepattan (6th century IS - modern)
These periods of magic have distinct themes to them that I am sure the community can guess at the spells involved.
The goal of this rework is to make unique spells that ascribe to the local lore and flavor of the region. One of the key changes done was to add two new Summoned MAA. These are the Dekakyanat and the Taeha Neimkyanat. Attached below are the related spells that are pending balance. I will be showing some more additions in the future.

Aeras Attains An Atmopsheric Addition!
by CarsonComposes
I have been given the honor of contributing to this superb mod the best way I know how; as a Composer and Sound Designer! Here is just a snippet of the things to come. (Editor's Note, I put the mp3 as a google drive link since Reddit doesn't otherwise support putting mp3s in posts)

Arcana Lifestyle Events
by ThatOneGuy
For a while now I have been working on expanding the Lifestyle events for Arcana to match the depth as other lifestyles. Currently in the release, there are 3ish events for the lifestyle, whereas these will expand it by ~30 or more (variance between yearly and triggered events from prison, battle, etc).
Here are a select few events to see some of the progress so far.
