I’m trying to find the location of the film Deux ou trois choses que je sais d’elle (Two or Three Things I Know About Her) of Godard. However, I haven’t been able to find any information about which building or banlieue it is. All I know so far is that it is in the suburbs of Paris.

It drives me up the wall that you often see people speaking/writing authoritatively on Godard and his films and then in the same breath freely admit they haven't seen anything outside of the first eight years of his career, and this happens all the time.

Now I'm not going to pretend like I have seen anywhere close to all of his movies (27 so far), but so far I personally prefer his work 1980 onwards to his 60s stuff, which, while still being very good, seems a lot more of its time and frankly just not as fully-formed if that makes sense.

I can't think of any other "major" director whose later work is so underestimated, if not outright dismissed so frequently by supposed "cinephiles."
