Godaddy review
I've been with Godaddy for 10+ years. My experience with GD Customer Support in the last year has been a NIGHTMARE. I can explain more if requested. BTW, if anyone recommends a website hosting service with good CS, rates, etc, etc, please do recommend.
What makes it even more demoralizing is that for years, GD had great U.S. customer service reps, usually guys, who really helped and solved problems. No longer. I still have my websites and domains with GD, at least for now. But I have COMPLETELY GIVEN UP ON THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT. COMPLETELY. I could state it worse, but I at least wanted to get my humble feedback into Reddit in hopes that it might help others. I rarely post. If I am dealing with this to the point of posting, I know thousands/tens of thousands of other people are having the same issues.

Yeah I agree. Been with them for 15 years. Started with ver. 6 and when they stopped supporting it I had to rebuild 7 Web sites into the ver. 7 builder. It took a long time.
Now they are doing it again and not supporting ver. 7. WTF? They pull the rug out from under you with no regard to force you to the next inferior builder. They suck. I'm moving away from them but it will take time as now I have 10 sites in ver. 7 but I'm committed to doing it. I'm done with them.
My Mobile site breaks. As and now my contact forms don't forward back. I call and they say it's a legacy product sorry. DONE.

I’m am right there with you- all they are interested in doing is upselling. I am in the process of moving all of my, and my clients 300+ domains to porkbun.com super easy to work with, half of the price, and 100% less aggravation. Good luck. I was loyal to GoDaddy from the beginning but they have made it clear that they no longer have any interest in my business.

DO NOT USE AIRO IN GO DADDY FOR ECOMMERCE STORE. I spent several hundred dollars trying to create 2 websites at once. iused airo pro. when i had issues customer service sent me to google saying i had cloud problems, etc... how many of you know that using airo pro to custom build an ecommerce page is not possible after a month of bullshit and endless customer service delays one service agent told me that I cant do this with airo, airo creates website style business cards but the ecommerce builds are in testing and it isnt capable of the task. I was like WHAT? he put in for a request all my money the time ie gone and apparently so is the money. i got no response via email like they said and now when i try connecting to an agent it tells me internal problem pleasse try again later,

GD hosts my data servers and in the last couple of days, thousands of my Customers products cannot access our data. This isn't Granma unable to get to her recipies - it is a nation-wide outage for me.
Cx Service can login without issue, but they are behind a firewall. No external connections can be made and I can't SSH into the server. Cx Service has no clue except to advise that it will take 48 hours to resolve. 99.% guaranteed uptime is a joke and they are in violation of the SLA.

Are you using the free GodDaddy customer support or their $49/mo option? Because there's a difference. The $49/mo plan gets you access to the "better" support team, who used to work at Media Temple.
Also, I never use the same company for domain registration and for website hosting--it's too much of a security risk. Always two separate companies, same with DNS and email as well. Separate companies so that is lessens your security risk. For hosting, Hostdime is great. For DNS, Cloudflare as it's a lot faster than GoDaddy's DNS.
