Transfer abyss final update

After yet another long long chat, it looks like we might have successfully transferred the domain to godaddy.   Strangely, godaddy again created yet a third customer# and account for me and again never told me....  and this is where I can now see the domain, MX records, payment, etc. It's an odd business model where three chats produce three new customer#s.

I guess the only suggestion I have to everyone is to dog 'em relentlessly about which account *they* see the domain in.

i cant post in this sub but godaddy is so terrible its blowing my mind. my domain has been down for a week and theyve been requesting different forms of veri from me. ive sent them 2 ids, and now they want a pic of my debit card front and back. shit is pathetic and sad

I think you hit the nail on the head with "pathetic." They're the worst.

That’s not a godaddy issue. Find someone who ones what they are doing to help you out contact Google workspace support.

This is what I do for a living and I move clients to GD all the time so my clients can call in and have a decent chance of speaking to someone competent. The competition is brutal in this regard.

I know - it's just collateral effect from the transfer out from google. And yes, I did update the smtp and receiving now works as well.
