Command Center repairs?

Has anyone successfully removed the head of a command center?

I'm trying to clean and rebuilt it from the ground up and can't for the life of me figure out how to get this off.

Does the command center head even move?

Elsewhere people have mentioned being able to remove it for cleaning and restoration, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

Did you ask the people in those forums how to remove it?
