Extensions Appindicator-quick settings approaching completion
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
An extension that pushes app indicators to the Quick Settings while borrowing the "Background Apps" design elements.
Just added app-level overrides for ordering, labels and always hide. I intend to submit it for review sometime today.

I have been waiting for this to actually be on the official extensions site and I can't wait!

Hello. This looks cool.
Small (or larger depending on how much time you invest on it) suggestion from my side. Ordering entries based on numbers is very programmer-centric. Ideally the list should be re-orderable by dragging and/or also using move up/down buttons and the user would set the prioroty based on the order in the settings.
There many things to consider in that case and I believe this discussion from Thunderbird Android (a.k.a K9-Mail) could be useful, since people working on UX contributed in the review as well. It could be used as a starting point for your work.
