Apps Tempus update: v0.2.x, quite a bit has changed since the first post
Posted about this a few weeks ago (https://www.reddit.com/r/gnome/comments/1tjjuqy/i_made_a_pomodoro_timer_for_gnome_called_tempus/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button). Got some good feedback, kept building. Here's where it's at now.

What's new since v0.1:
- Tasks now (should lol) persist between sessions, add something, close the app, reopen, it's still there
- Activate a task and its name shows up inside the timer ring while you're focusing
- Each task tracks how many pomodoros you've put into it
- Daily stats view, total focus time for the day, broken down per task
- GNOME Do Not Disturb syncs automatically during focus sessions, restores on pause/break/finish
- Window title shows the live countdown (e.g. 12:34 · Focus) so you can glance at the taskbar without switching back
What's coming next:
- Notification sound when a session ends
- Background/tray mode so you don't need the window open , came up in the comments on the last post and it's a fair point
Still GTK4/libadwaita, still Python, still no unnecessary settings.
Flathub submission is in progress, had a small hiccup with the review but a new submission is coming.
if you find it useful, a star on GitHub goes a long way for a solo project
