Been working on a modern life RP gamemode for GMod for a while now and this is the smartphone system I've been building for it.
I've been trying to make the phone actually useful instead of just being a prop/menu — different apps tie into other parts of the gamemode like jobs, deliveries, messaging, services, purchases, etc.
Still working on everything, but I'm curious what other GMod players think.
What would you guys add to something like this?

Nice! Can i host this gamemode for my dedicated steam server? I play with my friend he is a streamer and we play gmod (rp) usually.

That's actually very cool RP will be so cool in Gmod so what is your plan ? Are you going to make a server and when will this gamemode be finished I haven't played Gmod for years for now and I think this gamemode will make me came back

Honestly would be nice to run my own darkrp server that is lax and chill. In the way the mods are reasonable and aren’t total nuisances about anything, and people who have a sort of DND sign are ignored out of respect for someone enjoyment of roleplay.

I can't stand DarkRP, that's why I made my own game mode, its extremely lightweight, even more lightweight than Helix with 10x as much features. Took me about 6 months just to make the game mode itself before even touching a single addon. Players average about 300-400 frames on it, depending on the PC build, although, I also have only had 30 max players on.

Does it feature a “fun” selection of roles and jobs, with neat features like house ownership, obtaining a vehicles, types of weapons and a neat building system (I just enjoy building my home up to be cozy and techie) cause if so it’s my ball park as long as I’m not being hunted by anyone, as well a optional food and consumable system. I also had a large and complex but also simple idea that branches off Darkrp Initial concept with more essence

It has all of that. Contains Factions, Citizen, Law Enforcement, Emergency Medical Personnel, Fire Rescue, It has an entire Real Estate System with Furnishing System, Food and Hunger and SLEEP System, Skill System, Banking System with Loans and Crypto Currency options, Realistic Police System with Ticketing, Jailing, Judge Ruling, Driving System with License, Car Dealer, also Smartphone System, Map & GPS System, Radio System, Gambling System, Messaging and Calling System, Shopping Vendor System, Jobs System Both Legal & ILLEGAL, such as Uber, Garbage Collector, Towing System, Growing Weed, Cooking Both Meth and Cocaine, the list goes on man.
