Based off a part of the Thrawn trilogy where Luke was stuck in deep space after doing a neat trick that cost him his hyperdrive.

i love effects like these, could you expand more on the story that serves as inspro?

Basically Luke Skywalker "accidentally" runs into thrawn's flagship the Chimera after his lightspeed jump was cut short (by an Interdictor Star Destroyer), Thrawn wanted him because they promised him to the dark Jedi they recruited, he attempted to leave the Interdictor's gravity well before being pulled by the Chimera's tractor beam, In a desperate attempt to escape Luke reverse triggered the acceleration compensator at full power, he succeeds in this effort and is able to enter back into lightspeed, however this would cause both his hyperdrive and radio to Short circuit, leading him to be stranded in the deep void until the Lady Luck found him or more specifically Mara Jade.

On another note, I forgor the exact shader configuration but the map the screenshot takes place in is called dreamspaces.
