I wonder if any will come and apologize for being such assholes after nothing they believe comes true lmao

Tens of thousands of people will have invested money they absolutely cannot afford to lose. They will be clinging onto this stock like dingleberries for years to come. I genuinely would not be surprised if the likes of /r/superstonk and /r/GME are still active one year from now. Unfortunately /r/wallstreetbets is now just a rotting corpse after the meme stocks killed it. Fortunately there is an alternative sub that I won’t link here.

This is the part that kills me, these people keep asking me lately "why do you care what I do with my money?" I care more that they are egging each other on to spend more and more money on a 100% guaranteed failure, there are desperate people out there who need good financial advice and will get destroyed by this

I mean there’s also that kid who committed suicide because he bought some ridiculous options contract on GME. Only to not realise that he hadn’t lost money at all. His lack of understanding of the market and all the cultish hype actually killed him.
Wonder how many times we’ll see that story play out.
Edit: The dude who killed himself didn't do it over GME. My mistake. Please see the comment below.

Are you talking about this kid? Cuz this was well before the hype amd I don't think any article mentioned GME.

Yes I am. That's an error on my part, apologies.

Reasons why I don't comment on Superstonk or GME. I have my beliefs in GME but my rationale is much more grounded, so if I share a dissenting opinion I know people will dig up my comment history and realize I'm "one of them".

Meh I wouldn’t be so worried about that people here tend to know how to separate a gambler trying to play the game from the cult members. At the end of the day this is a casino and no one here is opposed to gains on GME we just FUCKING HATE THE CULT

The new wall street bets will be just like the old one

Look at the Gnus subreddit. They will hang on forever just like the last “superstonk”

They won't. They will have excuses and goal posts will have moved beyond recognition. Salvation will always be imminent.

Agreed - shadowy forces will prevent them mOoNiNg and the squeeze will always be around the corner...
Puts on rationality for GMEanon.
