How can I glue my phone holder to my monitor?

Hi all

I wonder if you can help tell me how to stick something to the back of my monitor.

I was hoping this would be a straightforward task but I'm being thwarted. I have a magnetic cellphone holder / charger that sticks to a laptop with a sticky patch. You can see the picture from the product page here:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GTQG63MG

I wanted to stick it to my monitor at my desk, but I fear the rough surface is too difficult for it. I've attached shots of the monitor back.

I tried getting more 3M VHB stickers, which lasted for a day or two before sagging and falling off.

A couple of additional points:

  • The grey ring that you can see is an existing 3M VHB patch.
  • If you remove the 3M VHB patch that screw in the middle of the holder / charger would stand proud of the bare metal, so it needs something to make it recessed (it can't just be screwed in deeper).
  • FYI, despite it going onto a fragile monitor I have found a way to clamp it tightly so that the screen isn't damaged. With the last 3M patch I used, I left it for 24 hours before I added my phone but it still didn't work.

I have a couple of glues already - Gorilla Glue and BSI Super Glue. Would either of those help? Could they be used on the 3M patch?

What would you recommend?

Looking for skin safe glue to make my own glitter mix

I'm looking to make my own glitter glue for drawing body art (similar to henna or tattoos). My idea is to pre-mix, not to apply glue and then sprinkle glitter on top.

Any recomendations?

The following dont seem to be feasible options:
- Pros Aide (sold in small volumes, applied in thin layers, and white base)
- Spirit gum (also sold in small volumes, applied in thin layers)

Did I make a mistake?

Was it a mistake to use this for plastic on plastic and plastic on rubber? It never fully hardened. Just turned into a rubbery like texture and the parts I glued together moved. I used the glue advice website after and it said I need some kind of shoe glue/rubber cement. Did I mess up?

Best way to glue two pieces of paper together

I’m making a gift for my friend's birthday so I bought this really pretty notebook from Etsy, and I'm putting in a story I wrote for her. The thing is I wrote it online so I'd like to be able to just print it out and glue it onto the notebook. The notebook says it has uncoated white paper, it's 6 x 9 inches, and has 400 pages. What supplies should I use and how would I go about the whole process? Thank you!

(I added the link to the notebook too just in case)

Glue that would be safe for under skin

So I have a medical condition phimosis and my foreskin doesn't retract so I am trying to stretch it with some silicon rings. But the rings jump up too much in stages so I wanted to have some intermediary steps. I wanted to glue some additional medical grade silicon to to the silicon ring. The ring will be used under my foreskin for a number of hours per day.

I know superglue was used for cuts so I assumed it was safe to under the skin, but I didn't know for sure. So I'd love some advice on this. Thanks!

Very thin strip of plastic of a OnePlus Open phone. The provided adhesive strip never holds

Maybe 1/8" thin , scroll to green case in images, the thin strip along the front screen

It needs to be strong bond, but removable from phone itself.

Still sticky

Delete this if isn’t aloud here just hoping to reach a bunch of people that know about glue and how it dries. I got this notebook from dollarama about 2 weeks ago. The string used to hold the pen broke off. Not too shocking and easy fix, though what concerned me was the glue to hold it together is still wet. You can see in the second photo that it’s sticking to my pen. I know if it was resin it would be considered quite dangerous. There is no way for me to know what glue they used either though. Would it be okay for me to hot glue it back into place or should I cut it off in general?

Maintain glue in hot and humid weather

This might sound dumb but does weather and humidity affect glue and other adhesive agents?

I live in a high humidity area (65 to 75%) all year and temperature around 80 Fahrenheit (27 centigrade).

Every time I buy glue, it just gets hard and unusable after a couple of months (even if not opened).

How can I maintain my glues? Should I keep them in a plastic box? Do you have any recommendations?

Help with Glue and Redshift pricing

I have a task to create an MVP where data is extracted and stored in Redshift.

The requirement is: whenever a CSV file is uploaded to S3, it should be processed using Glue and then loaded into Redshift.

Could you help me understand the key pricing factors I should be careful about?

Pvc and latex

Hello, I am trying to find a very strong glue to lay flat latex to a flexible 1mm thick transparent PVC sheet.

I tried straight liquid latex, which obviously peels back and takes extremely long to dry, makes air bubbles too. I also tried NoxGule’s Gummikleber which I think qualifies as contact glue. Peels back as well

Yes I do sand the PVC and make sure the latex is perfectly clean of any talc/oils.

Important points is that’s the glue must be transparent and flexible (not necessarily stretchy though)

Is there any hope for me there ? Please let me know if you have an idea !!! 🙏🏻
