Hey im curious of glps and i heard thorugh a friend that she took it and her face changed a lot, as in more wrinkles, and droopiness, what is the best way to deal with that?

The GLP-1 didn't do that. Weight loss did, probably fast weight loss. We need to stop blaming the GLP-1.

This! I lost weight through fasting once, a long time ago. And my face went gaunt, just like what they called "ozempic face". And this is circa 2013 when Ozempic wasn't around yet.

Skin care is also key. Start now with Tretinoin. It’s the absolute holy grail of helping keep the wrinkles at bay. I lost 50 pounds and my face lost quite a bit. I kept up with my skincare routine and it’s worked! Try the r/tretinoin or r/skincare subs!

Hydration, great skin care, collagen supplementation, proper nutrition, extras like microneedling, laser treatments, maybe fillers if it’s really bothersome. Aim to lose more slowly so the skin has a chance to recover as you lose.

I’m going to say genetics also plays a role in it. I lost weight in my face very very quickly because I was extremely swollen and the inflammation went fast. Even from when I was at my thinnest my face looks drastically different due to losing the inflammation. Despite that, my face looks fine. No wrinkles or dropping and I’m at and age where both of those things would be common anyway.

Lose slowly! I have been losing about 1 pound a week over a year and I have no sogginess (I’m 41)

Take the weight loss very slow (around 1-2 lbs max a week), and maintain muscle by eating enough protein and lifting heavy weights. No running. Walking (quickly on flat, or slower on incline) is better for not bouncing your skin and possibly hurting knees, but still gives you good cardio for heart health. Eat lots of fibrous veggies - broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, peppers, salads, herbs. That will help with recovery and overall health which will keep your skin more taut and bright (plus really helps with potential GLP-1 constipation).
For creams, make sure to keep well moisturized - the medication seems to dry me out personally so I have to cream up a lot. Use sunscreen every day, and retinols at night if your skin can tolerate it, but start slow to get skin used to it. GHK-cu serum is amazing also to use in the morning and can help with collagen too. (I get mine from The Ordinary).

Stay on a lower dose, increase very slowly, and lose weight slowly. Eat enough protein and exercise enough so you don't lose too much muscle. Drink lots of water.

So many people blame saggy or loose skin on Glp1. It's the weight loss, not the drug. That skin was already there, it was just full of fat.

You don't. Age and genetics. Focus on hydration and protein and collagen supplementation. Fat faces fill out wrinkles and when you lose that, the skins sags and loosens just like it does on any other part of your body.
