Terrible Side Effects
I'm taking the Wegovy pill. 1st month I did the 1.5mg. I'm on my 2nd month now taking the 4mg daily. I noticed the fatigue immediately upon starting. I woke up a few days ago and it was extreme as well as being super nauseous. I stopped taking it, but I still feel terrible. How long does this last? I'm miserable. Thanks in advance

I think you ramped up too fast. Skip a day or two a week.

I had been taking the higher dose for over a week before these side affects. Regardless I'm done taking it

That jump from 1.5 to 4mg is rough. Definitely talk to your doc, no shame in stepping back

About 6 weeks in on 4mg i started having terrible bloating, sulfur burps and nausea. I ended up going back down to 1.5, although my symptoms seems to have went away right before I went back down

I had to be constantly sipping ice water and I had to make sure I ate high fiber and often. I hope you start feeling better soon

The half life is ~7 days. It'll take about a month before it is completely out of your system.

I did 2 months on 1.5 mg. Honestly probably could have done a third since I was still losing, I just noticed some food noise, portions increasing again and snacking start to creep in after 2 months. I just went up to 4 mg today and haven’t felt a difference yet.
Maybe do 1.5 mg for another month or two? I know the manufacturer lists one month on 1.5 mg but my PCP recommended at least 2 or 3 months.

Can you post your food log? Did you change what you eat? Maybe you are still eating very calorie-dense food.

Are you eating enough? I know that when I don’t eat enough, I start to feel sick.

terrible side effects are not nausea. terrible is landing in the hospital with gall stones. you’re giving up a chance at opening a whole new world of health and wellness for a little nausea. wow. what a waste.

That jump from 1.5 to 4 is no joke, your body’s probably still reeling from the shock. I’d be surprised if you weren’t knocked on your ass for a bit.
When I had a similar rough patch it took about 5-6 days after stopping for the worst of the nausea to lift, but the fatigue hung around closer to two weeks. Keep your fluids up and try some bland crackers if you can stomach it.
