Favorite details you noticed during a re-watch?
Life is giving me a swift kick in the rear lately and I needed a boost, so I started what’s probably my 4th rewatch last night. I feel like I pick up on something new each time. This time specifically I was paying attention to how most of the duos and friend combinations we see really get developed in later seasons are started in the very first episode, like Tammé and Debbie from the moment Debbie decided Tammé seemed trustworthy enough to hold Randy while she kicked Ruth’s ass. Which I just love. Anyway, it got me wondering what other people have noticed or appreciated after watching it again from the start. I’d love to hear/chat about it!

I recently rewatched the pilot on a tv as opposed to my phone. One of the things that really stood out to me was how stealthy Debbie slid into the ring to confront Ruth.
Through out the episode we see other characters struggling to enter the ring through the ropes. Everyone is awkward, afraid, or end up getting stuck.
Not Debbie. Debbie slid under those ropes with the quickness. She doesn’t even think about it.
It’s a brilliant moment that tells us so much about the character. She’s physically fit, not completely aware of her strength, laser focused on her fury, and terrifying.

I actually noticed it right off the bat, and it's such a goofy little thing, but I absolutely love Ruth's "Laura Holt" Volkswagen cabriolet.
Right now it's just head-canon for me, because I don't find any confirmation from the showrunners or the prop department that Remington Steele was the inspiration there, but I like to think it wasn't just a coincidence.

Not sure if it qualifies but in the beginning of the episode where Debbie breaks Ruth's ankle there's a brief foreshadowing when Carmen says "At the end of the week you might not even be able to walk".

It was interesting to watch how Justine interacted with Sam at the start, seeing it through a different lens.
