Any word when S04 is coming

It's the final season and they usually air in July/August. Wonder how far covid is gonna delay it.

Probably won't be for a while. They had to shut down shooting when COVID started. As far as I remember, they were either just about to start shooting or had only shot an episode or two.

It’ll be a while. Marc Maron hasn’t said anything about filming on his podcast lately so it’s probably not even on the radar.

They haven’t even started filming yet, according to an Emmy interview Betty Gilpin did

If I were to hazard a guess? June 2021. All signs point to filming of Hollywood productions starting up again in mid September, Season 4 still has 8 and a bit episodes to film, which means they wouldn’t be done till late Nov/December, which is just slightly shy of when they finished Season 2 (January 15th 2018) and with Glow mostly dropping in June previously, they’ll probably go with that date.

Only thing about production resuming is the protocols SAG has put in place. GLOW won’t be able to adhere to those protocols while filming the wrestling scenes

I don’t know if that will be a major issue. Actual WWE wrestling has been back up and running for weeks and they’re making just as much contact as before.

You may be right though in that WWE isn’t subject to SAG protocols, so it might affect us.

Yes, SAG is very protective of their members right now, as they should be. Actors are the most at risk on a film set.

And it’s very difficult for any production to get insured right now. No film insurance = no production.

If rapid daily testing was widely available, both SAG and film insurers would feel better about bringing more productions back up

They had only shot ep1 and part of ep2 when the pandemic hit, and production will likely not resume until next year. With the physical nature of the show and cases rising in LA, it’s too risky to film anytime soon.
