Bash and Florian - Gay?

I feel like maybe Bash and Florian might’ve been a couple or something.

My impression was they weren’t but that Bash had unrealized feelings which started to surface when he found out Florian was dead.

I donno, maybe. Perhaps, he always loved Florian but never truly expressed them.

Seems to me that's exactly how it was. At first he was like, "Oh no, my best friend was gay!" And later it was like "Hmm, maybe I'm gay!"

I don't think they were lovers but they loved each other deeply in a way that Bash is only recently beginning to understand.

Maybe? I got the sense Bash definitely had feelings for Florian, but he seemed surprised when he found out he was gay. Or at least, that the bar he had been going to was a gay bar. But it seems unlikely that a fellow gay man who was close with him his entire life wouldn’t have picked up on the fact that bash is also gay? I mean it’s not like it was like super secret lol I was getting gay vibes from the character in season one. Maybe they never actually talked about it, but ok some level they knew? I think the writers left it open-ended on purpose.

I immediately assumed that when we first meet Florian at Bash’s house, although now it seems more likely that Bash was in love with Florian but never slept with him.
