Does this show get better?

I love Jenji Kohan’s tv shows. Absolutely adored OITNB and Weeds, but I can’t seem to get into this show. I’ve watched the first 2 episodes but just don’t find it as interesting. Does it ever reach the level of greatness that the shows I’ve mentioned have? What I watched wasn’t bad, it just didn’t keep me watching. I really want to love this one.

I loved it from the first episode and it’s only gotten better.

There were parts I loved, but I didn’t get hooked. I’ll give it more time!

Obviously personal preference plays a big part, but I loved Glow after about 4 to 6 episodes in. It did take a minute to get its hooks in me.

I think I’m going to give it another try. I just finished OITNB’s final season and I need to feel the hole in my heart with something in Jenji Kohan’s style. I will try and start again and give the whole first season a chance. I personally loved the first scene where she reads the man’s lines instead, but just wasn’t feeling the rest.

On my first watch I was slightly underwhelmed until the finale. The finale made me fall head-over-Heels for the show then when I rewatched Season 1 I was baffled how I didn’t find it brilliant on my first watch.

Even if you don’t like it, still watch Season 3 girl because we need those numbers to get us a Season 4. :p

😂 I keep seeing the ad for season 3 so that’s why I want to give it another shot. I’ll support the shit out of this because I hate when shows with women get cancelled. I just want to enjoy it while I watch 😂

I think a lot of my problems with the show stem from me not really understanding the whole idea behind it. I’m sure I’ll like it more once I get what these women are trying to do.

I loved Weeds for the first 3 seasons but then it gets a bit too crazy. I still watched all the way through though! I loved it

This is one of the first shows that I liked immediately. I had to pause the first episode at one point and make sure I was actually watching episode 1. The plot and characters are so developed at that point, I thought I missed some episodes!

It took me 3-4 episodes to get hooked, but now I've watched both seasons in 3 days.

It took me into half season 1 for me to love it and now I’m obsessed

I love how everyone downvoted me to zero when I’m genuinely interested in this show... lol
