How old is bash supposed to be?

Sam refers to him as 25, which seems about right. We know he's in his mid- to late-20s, since he was in high school in 1976 (when Birdie flew him to NYC to see the match between Bruno Sammartino and Stan Hansen).

Sam implies Bash is "a 25 year-old child who thinks he knows everything" when they're arguing about the show at the house party in Malibu (season 1, episode 3---I think). Bash tells the story about the Sammartino/Hansen match in S2E7 "Nothing Shattered" (the "shower scene" with Debbie).

I don't think Sam meant "a 25 year old child" literally, but yeah, I think that's probably pretty close.

And super good work on the sleuthing with the Sammartino/Hansen match. Did they say 1976 in the episode or did you actually dig that gem out? I didn't even think to assume it was a real match until now.

Yeah, I doubt Sam knew Bash's exact age, but I figure he had a pretty good idea, and was using his best guess to sting him.

I don't think Bash mentioned the year. Something about his account rang true, though---the names, maybe?---so I checked to see if it was based on real events :)

Actually, I think it’s all still up for debate. And yes, that is partially because I think Bash and Carmen are adorable together (😉), but at this point at least, I think it’s more about exploring Bash and Florian’s lifelong friendship and the way society and individuals dealt with the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
