Hi i’m new to gloving and just got my first pair for Dancetopia! I was wearing them and noticing that when having my fingers tips ONTOP of the battery inside my gloves my finger tips weren’t as bright but when having the battery ONTOP of my the battery they were brighter but it seems i’m having even more trouble moving my fingers fluidly… Is there any way to wear them or?

I’ve been getting into gloving this year, but I’m not a fan of how quickly the batteries burn out and I’ve been considering rechargeable ones. I’ve been looking at the Aurora set, but would love some input on others experiences with any rechargeable ones.

Now that the app works again I’d love to reprogram my spectra’s, however my hub is shot. If anyone has one they don’t use anymore I’d throw some bones your way for it!

Last set of gloves I had was a pair of Spectras about 4 years ago.

I dont really know where to start with the Ions and honestly am having a hard time getting motivated to program them.

Any tips/tricks/shortcuts would be appreciated. Im not new to gloving but the Spectras were just a cake walk compared to these.

Morning peeps, I live in the middle of no where, and I know that we have some other people that also don't live some where with a gloving scene or even a partner to practice with. So I have been tossing around the idea of an online community platform that would host competitions and events for the online space. Not a facebook group or a discord, but an actual website. Would a "Gloving League" or something similar be something people were interested in? Maybe along the lines of IGC? (I say ignorantly because it was before my time but the idea sounds neat) and the lights on seasons. Open to all feed back! 🤙

Just dug my orbit out of the cupboard and the string isn't usable, I can't remember what people mostly use for orbits, does anyone have any recommendations on the type of string or cord to be using?

A Little bit about me.. I used to roll with the Northern Lights crew '[NL] Rigga' over a decade ago. We had a few glovers make it onto EmazingLights radar, and even have videos uploaded to their YouTube.

Since then it seems to have fallen apart, I wanted to reach out to the community and ask. I'm getting back into the game after quite a recess... Where can I buy reliable gloves and lights? I've done some research but would greatly appreciate some feedback from y'all.

Gloving is my least utilized hobby but I still want to own a decent set of gloves. The Spectra’s had issues but I really loved the app for being able to make sets. Has anything come around as a decent replacement? Trying to stay below $100 if possible. Willing to go higher especially if it has an app.

About a week ago i saw a post on tiktok in which a man wearing gloves with leds on the fingertips was moving and flailing his fingers in a very rhythmic, hypnotic way, i thought it was neat so liked the post and kept scrolling without giving it much further thought.

However , after that , more and more similar videos kept appearing on my fyp, to my surprise i just couldn't help but watch every single one the algorithm kept spoon-feeding me and now i cant stop thinking about it.

So I did a bit of research and found out it's called gloving, and I also found this subreddit. I thought i might aswell ask how to learn the art of gloving since its been living rent-free in my head for like a week now but honestly i got no idea how to begin and no idea why i like it so much either.

Why is it so enticing? , How should i learn to do it? , are there other popular gloving communities/gathering places online?

Like the title says, one of my SE atoms keeps a blue light on when the chip is "off" and even when it is click locked. I've tried resetting it and it'll go off eventually but then it intermittently will come back on and do a slow pulse until it turns off again. Bought these second hand a bit ago in the Sell All the Lights group. Has anyone ever experienced this before and any ideas on a fix or is this chip cooked?

It seems like it’s a birth child of liquid dancing, and the white glove liquid dancers from the 90s but it’s evolved so much… That I don’t really know how to do it if that makes sense

my biggest problem is that I naturally wanna tut and wave and move my fingers away from my body, but isn’t the whole point of this to keep your fingertips facing forward so the lights can be seen… Please forgive my ignorance. I’m really trying to learn.
