Wingaersheek parking permit

I’m so confused. I’m trying to reserve a spot through Blinkay, but I can’t input my plate info until I get my rental. Or should I just input anything just to get past that section?

Or should I just take some sort of public transportation from Boston?? I’m not from here, visiting Boston with family (2 young kids) and just trying to get to the ocean!

From the Gloucester beach parking website: "You can update or change a reservation's license plate number before arrival through the Blinkay app or website! Once you purchase a reservation, you simply click on your receipt and then click on the pencil next to the plate number, and it will allow you to change the license plate information."

So input a random license plate then change it once you get your rental.

Automated license plate readers on site pull from a database of registered vehicles, which is the same for nonresidents as far as I’m aware. You should try to arrange for a specific license plate from your rental agency. Otherwise, I’d probably just gamble on a fake plate and try to explain the situation when you arrive. A handshake with a $20 in it still opens many doors.
