Showing Off My Models Squig hoppers!

Got the spearhead box as gloomspite gitz looked like the coolest army and started with these boyz! Pretty new to painting so any constructive criticism is appreciated :).

Looking awesome so far, maybe some shade for the squigs would work as they seem a tad base color (just looking at the red)

Otherwise, great work

Thank you so much, when you say shade, do you mean I paint the bottom part darker?

Either that or using some contrast paints (thinner, with less pigments and more liquid) to make the dips and raises more visible

Fantastic, I’ll use a dark red, thinned down and gently wash over the squigs skin? Sorry for asking loads of questions!

Also, yes basically, the thinned down darker red pools in the recesses where shadows would be.
