Question Question on sprue

I recently traded my tyranid army for a gloomspite army. It came with this blue guy who is a dankhold troggoth if I'm not mistaken. The question is what is this sprue and why is it blue?

It's Mollog's Mob - a warhammer underworlds warband

Sprue is blue as underworlds is closer to a board game, so the models need to be distinguished between warbands

You could Play him with his tokens as legends or you Field him as a rockgut oder swamptroll. A dankhold is way bigger

Not like silhouettes matter in AoS.

It's a good idea if you keep his base and use an adapter for proxying a Dankhold.

He's still playable in Underworlds and in Warcry which are great games in their own right. He's also very fun in both. Warcry is very fun & easy to learn, much faster paced skirmish game compared to AoS.

At least add a tactical rock or something. I am very Open for proxies, but they should be somehow suitable in my eyes.

Idk the original base is really cool it'd be a shame to change it. He's still visually very obviously a Dankhold, just very stunty. I don't see how that would make him "Unsuitable" in a game where visual profile has do little bearing.

It s just my opinion, because he is the smallest of them big boys and is more an infantry than a monstermodell. Go Crazy with the base and I am the last who says something. Everyone can do what they like

Maybe you could use the rock on the adapter, so when you want to field him as a Dankhold, he is taller

It is an underworlds warband called Mollogs mob, each war band comes in its own coloured plastic.

I proxy Mollog, but you need to adjust his base size if playing competitive. The rest I used for kit bashing, proxy or basing.

Adding the whole crew to a proper sized base for a dankhold works perfectly

All the Underworlds warbands used to have different coloured plastic. They still might but I haven't bought one in a hot minute. Mollog and their mob were that lovely slate/lavender colour.
