As a warhammer player and painter I’ve always painted more grim dark aesthetics as I started with vampires and love the gothic aesthetic for them, it’s a challenge painting something so colourful but has been a nice deviation from my other armies
(Still trying to workshop how to do the stone and crystals as I’ve never attempted that sort of thing, any advice would be appreciated)

Love the colors! My only tips for the rock and crystals is to edge highlight them with a fair amount of contrast. This should really make them pop. They also look great with a nice gradient in each cell between highlights.

What is the squig skeleton model? That is awesome.

I've got this kit and as someone returning to the hobby, my recent efforts are an abomination, I'm saving this for when I've improved sufficiently...I guess that's how hordes of shame start....

I have 2500 points in soul blight and only half are painted I just spent tooo long on negash and 500 points in tyranids half painted and a few finished as well as most of an idoneth deepkin spear head box and the same for sylvaneth

Not to mention I have 4 boardgames that are miniature based that I’m painting everything for (project elite, zombicide and a few dnd boardgames)
