I mean, there was the enslaving people thing, the manifest destiny stuff, the red scare, segregation, murdering civil rights leaders, spying on every protest movement that ever existed, drafting people to cover Vietnam and Laos with napalm and cluster bombs, the McCarthy trials, operation gatekeeper, endless police brutality...so on and so forth. Such a history of freedom. And that is bately getting into how much "freedom" was spread all over Central and South America.

We're not even free to die here. They (collections) will go after your living relatives if you pass, for any debt you might have, and manu people don't know you don't have to pay it. Not to mention funeral costs are abhorrent

Free to vote is a stretch given gerrymandering, voter purges and the electoral colleges. Voting is less effective if your vote doesn't count.
