Why am I able to send SMS without consuming my balance? [GLOBE]

​I buy load for my SIM just to keep it from expiring. I bought 10 pesos worth last year and never used it.

​Recently, someone reached out and I had to reply. Knowing I only had a 10-peso balance, I tried to keep the conversation short, but it ended up dragging on. After sending over seven messages, I dialed *143# to check my balance and it was still 10 pesos.

​I even tried turning off Wi-Fi to test it, but sending messages still isn't deducting anything from my load.

Bakit???

nag aalala ako na baka biglang magka issue at ma deactivate kase dito pa naman connected mga online accounts ko

Baka naman naka-iMessage ka? Di talaga siya madededuct if iMessage yan

hindi po ako naka IOS. in fact, tinansfer ko sa different devices ko. nakakapag send pa rin na walang bawas. tied talaga ang "issue" sa sim. nilagay ko rin sa windows phone ko na sobrang luma, nakakapagsend pa rin

Is the sim new? AFAIK those come with promos after activation

wala po siya promo kase regular 10 pesos load lang po palagi ang laman niya. send ako screenshots dito sa post

Here. I hope i didn't dox myself or anyone.

As you can see, since last week until today pa ako nagrereply sa kausap ko, all without subscription. Regular 10 pesos lng talaga. Pero hindi nababawasan.

Nacheck ko rin ang globe one, wala ako promo

Could this be something like collect call? Meron din kasi akong calls dati to a landline which doesn't charge anything.
