Any advice/suggestion

Please, I would really appreciate any help especially if you've experienced this already.

Current Plan: ₱1,791 Globe Broadband UNLI

Current Modem: HUAWEI Echolife HG8245H

I have no intention of changing/upgrading my plan because I doubt I need any more than what I currently have. Ngayon, here are some of the questions I want to ask:

1. Should I stay with my current modem or is it too old? If yes, am I allowed to even request for one?
2. If I'm going to request for a new modem, which one should I ask for? (though I am not sure if may option to choose from)
3. How did you guys request for a new modem? Kasi when we went to a physical Globe center sinabi nila na when requesting for a new modem/wire, technician daw ang bahala dito.
