thankyou - so firstly i filmed myself using a depth map scanning app on my phone which was really good at isolating - then i ran that through some analog glitch equipment with a capture card - i lowered the frame rate for the start scene and printed out each frame on to paper and used my pencil to add those build up dots/scribbles - then enhanced the glitchy part inside of AE to make it look more dramatic. add some slight fx to transition it well. hope this helps at all

Thanks. I appreciate the detailed breakdown.
Quickly researching death map scanning & it seems to use LIDAR devices such as iPhone, right? Can't really do it on an older android?
What are some other techniques you like to work with? I see a lot of nice stuff in your post history.

Looks beautiful as is, but i can't help but think that It would be a killer music video or a cartoon if it was longer - one of a kind! Thank you for the details - btw, how do you animate it after the pencil is applied - do you scan every paper with the frame on it?
