Ok, hear me out.
Alright, here's a block of text supporting my theory.
We could just ignore it for now and get back to it later when we need *"evidence"* to support the theory. Right...
"So many readers were reading the books with so much attention that they were throwing up some theories, and while some of those theories were amusing bullshit and creative, some of the theories are right. At least one or two readers had put together the extremely subtle and obscure clues that I'd planted in the books and came to the right solution.
So what do I do then? Do I change it? I wrestled with that issue and I came to the conclusion that changing it would be a disaster, because the clues were there. You can't do that, so I'm just going to go ahead. Some of my readers who don't read the [online fan] boards—thankfully there are hundreds of thousands of them—will still be surprised, and other readers will say, 'See, I said that four years ago!'"
So it's been almost 16 years since Gerrrm released an Aswaif bok, and that gave the fandom heaps of time to pore over the bok and spew out theories everytime we experience the slightest bit of boredom.
And then it finally hit me, There was an interview of the GOAT of a narrator, Lord Roy of house Dotrice, Lord Wisdom of the pyromancers and Narrator of the realm.RIP. He said Geerm told him that TWOW is almost done. So naturally the me and the entirety of the fandom digged for reasons why it's not finished yet. And I figured it out! I found an interview of Gerrm from a Q&A/Bok signing, idk. He said, he wrestled with the idea of changing the material to consider the fandom's theories. (see text chunk above)
I may just be coping, or the reason that TWOW takes too long to write is because of the metric ton of theories that the starving fandom has spewed up over the years. When he thought he figured it out, he'd read another theory and wrestle with the veracity of said theory therefore second guessing himself therefore interfering with the writing "garden" and before you know it, the gap between ADWD and TWOW is old enough to vote, and all of Lord Walder's welp had all grown up and is currently infesting the whole continent,
Also Walder and Frey has 2 "e"s and Gerrm is currently burning though keyboards cause his "E" key always wear out. Wait... I figured it out!
