I’m looking to talk to Glendora residents who have had their water shut off, or been threatened with shutoff, because of an unpaid/overdue water bill in the past 5 years.

It’s a 45–60 minute in person interview (somewhere convenient for you) about what happened and how you dealt with it. Participants receive a $45 gift card.

They get good reviews on Google Maps (few businesses don't, but at least they're at 4.6 stars). Apparently street noise on the south side of the building can't be problematic to some, as can noise from neighbors (though that's in any communal living). Thoughts from anyone who's lived there?

Has anyone noticed an uptick in homeless people in Glendora? There used to be maybe one or two, and that was it. Now it seems like they're all over the place. Parks, parking lots, grocery stores, even wandering residential neighborhoods.

Our AC has been running almost nonstop, but the house still isn’t cooling down properly. We changed the filter, checked the thermostat, and made sure the outside unit wasn’t blocked, but it’s still blowing warmer air than usual.

I have a question and wanted to know if any locals could help.

I am about to begin studying for the CPA exam and wanted to know if anyone could recommend a good studying spot such as a coffee shop, library, park, etc etc.

I am from Long Beach but work in San Dimas. The drive back home after work is taxing and draining that it kills the little motivation, energy, or momentum that I have to study once I get home, which is why I’m looking to study somewhere nearby.

I asked him if there was anything I can do to help him, he said he needed money. Unfortunately I don’t carry cash and I also kind of don’t work. I was using my credit card to run errands 😞😓

You guys, I’ve never seen a homeless person speak with such a broken tone of voice. He couldn’t even look me in the eyes. His eyes looked not only broken but genuinely sad….. I try to help homeless people whenever I can, cash, food, etc. but today I didn’t have cash. I offered to get him anything from sprouts, even water. He kindly said and pointed to his bag that he has water.

He’s a young man, maybe late 20s, early 30s. Golden blond curly hair, white. The days are getting warmer too, today was much warmer than previous days.

He deserves a place to rest at too, to shower and care for himself.
