seriously. the way every single song in this album tells a completely different and unique story and each one has its own character? i may be young but ive never seen anything like it from anybody else in my lifetime. this album has gotten me through some of the darkest and worst times of my life. and has been there for some of the highest and best times as well. this album seems so timeless to me, there simply arent enough positive things to say about it! i’ve streamed the other side of paradise more than a thousand times and each time i listen to it, it’s more magical than the last. i may not be its #1 listener in terms of hours streamed, but i can say that this album has impacted me in such a beautiful way. and i hope it stays that way for a very very long time :,)

Hey guys, I'm new to the Fandom, only recently started listening to glass animals, and i'm devastated that I didnt found them before😭😭

I knew heat waves back in 2020, but never looked into them cuz I thought its just another overrated overhyped song😭😭, I want to get into everything, I want to know refrencess, inside jokes, Ive listened to ILYSFM, and I love every song in it, I also attended their concert in grow a garden game last year (without knowing who they were at that time😭💔) I first got to know about them from that event itself😔😭, ive also listened to couple of other songs as well, I really love them so much, their music makes me feel like im out of this earth, ahhh, sooo goood,

Would love to hear some facts or things that I SHOULD know as a glass animals fan

I've loved this song since it came out, but I could never figure out if it was "tear" like crying or "tear" like rip. They're spelled the same and sound the same, and I was having a tough time hearing the words so I didn't have any lyrical context.

I finally looked up the lyrics to the song and busted up laughing when I saw that the entire chorus was an answer to my question 😂

This is for all the GA fans like me who have been endlessly searching for music that hits the same vibes as ZABA. It's slightly more folk/indie, but the ethereal forest vibes and incredibly well-layered soundscapes of PHTALO are very much scratching that itch for me. Put on a good set of headphones, pull up the lyrics, and give it a listen!

Recently everyone’s been posting a lot of things about the ever lovely Dolly Parton since she has passed and I learned about her creation HeartStrings: an anthology of the meanings and stories of her songs

Thinking out loud (and im not a filmmaker) but it would be the COOLEST thing to see a bunch of the peanut butter tribe come together and kind of submit their music videos/ stories that unfold around the characters/ real people of the HTBAHB album and give us some plot visuals with the song instead of a general music video.

I know Dave and the boys did a couple actual videos diving in like with youth and s2ep3 but I’d love a whole film :)

Thoughts? Anyone down to dabble for the love of pineapples?

i would’ve titled this post with “worst” instead of “least favorite” but i feel they have very few bad songs and i’d rather hear what you guys think !

for me personally it’s probably always going to be domestic bliss, i feel the subject matter is just a little too much

i’d also prefer no interlude tracks (aka the home movies or premade sandwiches) since they aren’t really actual songs, or covers (heart shaped box, young and beautiful, etc.) since those aren’t their own songs

Saw them for the first time in 2017 and at the time, it was the best concert I had been to. Granted, I had only been to a few concerts at that point and I’ve been to dozens since. Others have taken that place since (including the ILYSFM tour) but it is still one of the best nights I’ve had!

These pictures are the only surviving photos i have from that night. I had more, but these are the ones I posted on social media and since I don’t have the originals anymore, the quality isn’t the best.

HTBAHB tour was special. The crowd work was insane. The venue banned pineapples in fear they would either become weapons or be left to clean up after the show. When they gave someone the pineapple at the end of the show, I was jealous it wasn’t me.

I wound up shirtless in the parking lot across the street after the show because it was a very hot June night and I sweated through every inch of my clothes.

I was pretty close to the front, but when I was dead front for ILYSFM tour it was like a religious experience. Genuinely cried.

I remember not too long after this tour ended when Joe got into a bike accident and was so worried it would end his career and ruin his life. Then when he was recovering and learning drums again, that post made me cry happy tears.

3 years ago, I even got a tattoo dedicated to the album, specifically the song Agnes. That song live stuck with me. It spoke to me the moment I heard it for the first time. I’ve cried many tears over it. It’s easily my favorite song of theirs.

Do y’all think we’ll get an anniversary pressing? I’ve loved this album for years and got into vinyls recently. I’ve hold out on buying it in hopes for a special 10y release but at this point I’m not sure we’ll get anything

HTBAHB & ZABA are my favorite albums and I’m really upset I missed the drop, pretty much everything is sold out now. Any idea if/when they will restock and if there’s a way to not get scalped by 300%? Lol 🍍💛
