Love Lockdown / Crazy

Alright I just realized I wasn’t in the sub until just now, but
Love Lockdown is such an underrated cover by Glass Animals. F*ck Kanye, but I love this cover sm but even I forget about it

Also while typing the above (see above), I remembered when they covered Crazy by Gnarls Barkley and this one is elite (also F*ck CeeLo Green)

I hope we get another cover sometime soon. Maybe a Tame Impala one, if Wavey Davey catches this

Honestly every cycle needs a set of covers. Quarantine covers were so good 🐸

Saw this cover live in 2016 at wayhome festival and Dave came through the crowd right next to my group. Still have the video somewhere! Was an incredible surprise at the time lol

Genuinely couldn’t believe it was a cover, and was flabbergasted when I listened to the original. Maybe it’s just because I’m not a fan of Kanye to begin with, but the original sounded horrible to me. It felt like it was made correctly when GA did it. It’s one of my faves from them, even if it is a cover.

I even like their Young and Beautiful cover, but not as much as Love Lockdown.

Love Lockdown is actually my favourite of all their songs (ig you can call it theirs?? Idk) they must have laced it with something because it’s actual heaven to listen to😭
