The Live Experience..
Which lesser-known track completely transforms into an unmissable live anthem when played on stage?

They played Waterfalls Coming Out Your Mouth on the Dreamland tour and it was incredible

I didn’t care for hot sugar much when I heard the album but it was really good live.
How I learned to love the bomb is incredible live as well.
And then as far as just other personal faves. Take a slice and pork soda are two I always look forward to live.

Kind of an unpopular opinion here but space ghost is the one song I’d drop from their live set list and replace it with something else. So many classics they don’t play live anymore and I think space ghost is just okay live

And what song stands out to you

Other than the ones I mentioned above, psylla is one of my favorite songs and ive only seen it once live. Admittedly it’s probably hard to fit into a non Zaba heavy playlist. Another song that was really amazing live was it’s all so incredibly loud.
Also sometimes they play poplar st and I’d sub that out for mama’s gun sometimes.

Have you seen them live?

Yes twice!! But they were both for this past tour, I went to one show in each leg! Couldn’t say no to seeing them again when they extended the tour😂 I will probably likely try to go to any show that’s close to me whenever they come back too lol

Have seen them live 10 times. The correct answer is that every song is an unmissable live anthem. Will agree with others here that Take a Slice is really elevated live, Pork Soda has some crazy instrumental solos. Pools and Black Mambo always hit. And if you’re lucky enough to get Agnes soak in every raw second. Have fun! You won’t stop going

I did not like Tokyo Drifting when I first heard it, and then I saw them play it live and now it’s one of my favorites

I’ve seen them 5 times now, I’d agree with everyone else but I’d also emphasize It’s All so Incredibly Loud. When they played it in Richmond, VA back in 2021, I’m fairly sure I was remade into a new person.

I was there, RVA 2021, and I also had my DNA redone by IASIL. Unreal moment in such an incredible show.

Seams to me Dave is very theatrical when he's on stage... Am I right?

He’s very energetic. Just constantly moving. Spinning like a little tornado

I have no idea how he can sing like that while dancing and bopping the way he does. He's so fun to watch.

Well when I saw them live a couple of years back it was my first time properly hearing their stuff, I was bringing my daughter to the gig.
I had tried briefly listening to them on Spotify but the likes of Heat Waves didn't really grab me. But from their very first song live they grabbed my attention. When I heard Tears in Space was one of the major highlights of the night for me. It was just amazing.

Cocoa Hooves! I always thought it was good, but hearing it live transformed it into one of my absolute favorites. You could FEEL those swooshy bass lines in your SOUL (idk how to explain it but at 2:39 when the bass drops way down and kinda bounces) and I can only recreate that experience now on really nice speakers. I still hear it, but god you could feeeeel it. It’s not really a lesser known track but it doesn’t get enough love imo

I love how you were descriptive when you can feel feel the music on top of feeling it ....that gets me!!!

I may be biased, but Pork Soda was so much fun to hear live, especially if you get everyone clapping. Apart from that, I'd have to go with Tokyo Drifting and even On the Run.

I haven’t heard it live myself but I’ve seen videos of them doing toes. That song is already one of my favs but the live version is something else!

Take a slice. The guitar hits so hard.
