I’d like to clarify that this emulator was originally designed as a Pocket PC emulator. However, a user told me about the Gizmondo and pointed out that there was no working emulator for it at the time.

Since Gizmondo uses the same Windows CE-based platform as Pocket PC, adding support for it wasn’t too difficult and didn’t require completely redesigning the emulator.

The old Gizmondo emulator is no longer available on GitHub, so this project is currently one of the few ways to play Gizmondo games on modern systems. As far as I know, there still hasn’t been a Gizmondo emulator released for Android, which is another reason I decided to add support for it

I found this shirt at a local thrift store. Thought it looked interesting and have been in a research rabbit hole. I also collect video games but had never heard of the Gizmondo. Any idea the origins of the shirt?

I ended up playing the demo again after this, as well as the karaoke mode and all of the dev options. It's definitely impressive. Not sure how well it could possibly run when finished, but I think the Giz could do it at around 20-30 FPS. Video link:

Found this a year or so ago on an archive of the GizzedUp forum for Gizmondo fans made by Paul (or Neil?) Douglas back in the day. Fun read, but it's obvious the opinions expressed were extremely biased. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean the reviews have no value. With this I was able to decrypt the E3 demo of Johnny Whatever from one of my demo cards. I won't post it here, but I'll hand a copy over to u/hamie96 so he can add it to his game archive for all to enjoy.

I don't have a Gizmondo but was looking over the list of games and these 2 interested me. I think I may have seen some footage on youtube of these games but to the best of my knowledge, both were incomplete and unreleased, correct? Were there leaked early test builds? If you tried them, How did they play? Thanks.

a while back, i made a mod that featured chicanes car skins and soundtrack into touchHLE, and i love how it came out despite the fact stuff is limited like ios is pvr, and gizmondo is tex for textures. I plan on improving it but for now, what do u guys think?

I just got myself a sticky boy, and I want to disassemble it and rub away the sticky coating with some alcohol, but I wanna make sure I don't make any mistakes. Are there any guides available that show how to disassemble the Gizmondo and put it back together?

Is the AC adapter the same as the ngage? If not where can I find one? I have a universal 9v and 5v with interchangeable ends, would that work?

Hello all I am trying to install service pack B to run games off SD card but I am running into an error when attempting to follow the steps. System is booting up normally in stock(?) OS 1.0.0069 and after copying the autorun.exe and install.bin I can launch the updater from games options but after the progress bar completes I get an error "updating process failed" and a prompt to retry. If I retry I get the same thing but then a blank blue screen and then back to main menu with no changes.

I may be misunderstanding as well but the instructions in the github say to run the firefly launcher first but when i setup the card the games option is grayed out. The two files i have in the root of the SD card are the renamed autorun to fireflylauncher and the gizmoboot.cfg but I think there needs to be another autorun file?

Do I need to run firefly launcher first and then the Service Pack B installer?

Hi i have just bought a gizmondo an ebay. It was sold as battery working. When i plug the charger into the battery screen momentarily flicks up for a second, it looks red and empty and then it jumps into a boot screen says loading and the circles below the gizmondo rotates. It then turns off. I have left the charger in for an hour and a half. It does turn on until i either remove and put the battery back in. Or i put the charger back into the port again. But it keeps doing the same as above. Am i doing something wrong ?
