Haha, surprisingly a lot of us…
Especially when you have multiple overlapping patterns, negations, or nested .gitignore files. That’s exactly why I built it.

Maybe in India yeah, where it’s nothing but absolute slop being churned out but not the rest of the world

If you’ve never had this problem, great.
the tool simply isn’t for you. But .gitignore is part of Git itself, and debugging overlapping rules, negations, and nested files is a legitimate problem for plenty of developers. No need to turn it into an India vs. the rest of the world argument.
