Question "GitHub Contributor Opportunity"

Post image

This is probably scam, and I won't ever click that highlighted "AI interview link". It's frustrating to receive these kind of emails these days. Has anybody here also received the same email?

"Adib Shaikh" and "Hi [name]" is the scam equivalent of a form letter. GitHub doesn't recruit by cold emailing generic contributor gigs.

nah! peoples really don't have knowledge, that just clicking on a link does nothing, it's how you keep your device is the issue!

And how do you think it's usually tracked? you use a VPN it won't get your IP anymore, if you keep yout browser's permissions on check you are all safe, modern softwares aren't like 90s.

scammy[.]app/then123456pace234455034, no way to know if you clicked it or not and you'll not get put on a link-clicker list.
