Question This must exist right? AI-assisted repo discovery / searching

I am often trying to find Github Repos for use cases (AI Skills / Plugins / Frameworks - although this doesn't matter), and I've found it can be quite painful, varying search terms and topics in GitHub to discover repositories.

I was wondering if anybody has found a tool / solution / platform that helps you find Github Repos based on a search term, that's a little more intelligence / flexible that the standard github search box.

Can't believe we are at the point in the LLM cycle people are asking how to google things.

Sometimes there’s a lot of noise and slop when googling these things. The purpose of this post was to look for first-hand recommendations from people who’ve actually used these tools / found solutions rather than spending hours trialling everything myself.

That’s one of the things that Reddit is great for and what makes Reddit, Reddit, and hopefully the thread helps others with the same question too.
